Optimal Brain Technologies is based on the edge of the New Forest, and was founded in 2010 with Gary Hales taking over in 2011.
Gary has spent almost 25 years helping to improve the performance of individuals, teams and businesses. He has held positions such as Global Head of Learning for an international bank; he has been responsible for a business covering the sub-Saharan continent; as well as a number of national sales leadership and strategy roles. In these position Gary's prime focus has been to maximize the performance of the people he has worked with.
Over the years Gary has developed himself by obtaining qualifications in Executive Coaching, as a NLP Practitioner, a Stress Bio-feedback Practitioner, Hypnotherapy and he has obtained his MBA with a focus on Strategy and Strategic Human Resource Management. Gary has coached and mentored numerous people to success throughout his career.
In addition, as a member of the Neuroleadership Institute Gary brings the latest thinking and research from the field of neuroscience into the work that he does with his clients.
Having discovered Brainwave Optimization through Brain State Technologies, Gary is now focused on bringing this amazing technology to as many people as he can! Gary says, "I continually search for processes, training and technology that are long-lasting and provide sustainable benefits. I had been working with the subconscious mind with my coaching clients for a number of years but when I discovered Brainwave Optimization, I realized that here was a technology and process that was at the leading edge of neuroscience, had a very high success rate and facilitated permanent change and benefits for my clients."
Gary has been married for over 20 years years and has three children. He has predominantly lived in the UK and South Africa but has also worked in Europe, other sub-Saharan countries, the United States, Middle East, China and Hong Kong, so he has a deep understanding of cultural differences and challenges people face in both their personal and working lives.
